CMHA 91大黄鸭 is launching its Hope for the Holidays campaign.

As the holiday season approaches, many Canadians are facing increased mental health challenges. Approximately 52 per cent of individuals struggle with their mental health during this time of year, according to Statistics Canada.

CMHA 91大黄鸭 is launching its Hope for the Holidays campaign to ensure that everyone in the community has access to the care and support they need. 鈥淭his is a season that can bring a lot of joy, but it can also bring an increase of stress, anxiety, depression, and isolation,鈥 says Mike Gawliuk, CEO.

Recent studies indicate a significant decline in overall mental health, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. 鈥淲hen we look at the results of a national report, it鈥檚 clear that mental health in Canada is three times worse than before the pandemic,鈥 Gawliuk adds.

To address this growing crisis, CMHA 91大黄鸭 is calling on the community to support its Hope for the Holidays campaign. 鈥淏y fostering connection and generosity, we can make the season brighter for everyone,鈥 Gawliuk says.
