Dive into 2025 with a rejuvenating start with the Community Recreational Initiatives Society (CRIS) Adaptive Polar Bear Dip in Okanagan Lake.
Since 2015, CRIS Adaptive has been hosting its annual fundraiser to support its adaptive and accessible outdoor recreation programs for people living with disabilities.
On Jan. 1, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Tugboat beach take an icy plunge into Okanagan Lake, along side CRIS Adaptie.
By signing up you could help raise funds for CRIS Adaptive Adventures, helping provide adaptive, inclusive outdoor recreation for people of all abilities, plus have a chance to win a private cold plunge and sauna session at L枚yly 91大黄鸭.
This is the 10th celebration of the Polar Bear Dip with CRIS Adaptive and the non-profit is hoping for a successful turn out.
It is $15 a person to participate in the dip that takes place at 2 p.m. You can register on site, but arrive early as there are always lots of last minute polar bears looking to take that dip.
A food truck serving warm bites and hot drinks will also be on site.
