Since Easter weekend something has been growing in Lake Country.
A community rock snake now has dozens of pebbles lining a trail of Jack Seaton Park thanks to Terri Salter and the local community.
The idea for the rock snake was launched at the Lake Country Easter egg hunt on March 29. There, attendees were encouraged to paint rocks for the beginning of Jake the Rock Snake.
Terri Salter of Lake Country said the purpose of Jake the Rock Snake, is to spread joy and happiness to as many people as possible with rock art.
Other residents are encouraged to paint rocks and add to the collection at any time.
