The big tree at Rutland Centennial Park will be lit up on Dec. 1.
The annual 91大黄鸭 celebration will feature a market, crafts, live entertainment, and some festive treats ahead of Mayor Tom Dyas pulling the switch to light up the 70-foot Christmas tree at the park.

The Salvation Army will be in attendance serving up chili and collecting donations for the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the lights being turned on at approximately 4:15 p.m.
