The Oyama Community Club in Lake Country's north end is getting a face lift.
Announced on the club's , Director of Community Liaison Lori Thompson said the hall was built in 1984 and posed the question, "Do we love the colour?"
The harvest gold colour on the exterior of the building is going to be covered and a new paint job is expected to brighten the building.
"She's the most beautiful hall in the world because it's in Oyama which is the most beautiful place in the world," Thompson said. "We're going to make her look as beautiful as Oyama."
The makeover is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the hall.
