Brewed at Tin Whistle, this year's "Do Good" beer is a Forrest Pale Ale

Another edition of Penticton Beer Week has led to the release of a brand-new local drink, courtesy of the city's eight breweries.

"Do Good," a Forrest Pale Ale brewed at Tin Whistle, can now be purchased at select liquor stores across B.C.

Every year, in celebration Penticton Beer Week, local breweries have collaborated to craft a new beverage in support of a charity. A portion of the funds in 2024 will go toward the BC Parks Foundation, a non-profit that supports wild spaces and habitats for threatened species.

It is available in four-packs of 473ml cans at liquor stores, and on tap at Penticton's eight breweries.

Last year, the "Do Good" beer was described as a West Coast Pilsner. Its success on the shelves led to around $4,000 being donated to the South Okanagan Similkameen BC SPCA.

This year marks the sixth annual Penticton Beer Week. Festivities, after kicking off with the Penticton Beer Run on Oct. 5, are planned at venues across the city until Oct. 14, to mark the occasion.
