PHOTOS: Multiple toy drives take place in 91大黄鸭 for Salvation Army

Residents were in a giving mood on Saturday

Saturday was a day for giving in 91大黄鸭 and multiple toy drives took place to support the Salvation Army.

To start the day, the 27th annual 4x4 Toy Run took place at Kiwanis High Noon Ball Park behind the 91大黄鸭 airport.

Many four-wheelers and fancy trucks were on display while hundreds of toys were donated for those in need. Money was also donated, but this year the emphasis was on toys to help make up for the Tiny Tim ending this year.

The event ran from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

And then from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 91大黄鸭 RCMP's annual 'Stuff the Cruiser' event took place at their detachment and at Toys-R-Us, to also raise money and collect toys for those in need.

At both locations, there were three bins that were filling up with toys as the day went on. And of course, toys were being stuffed into police cruisers as well.

The final numbers of what was raised from each event is unknown at this time.
