The Uptown Rutland Business Association (URBA) hosted its annual general meeting on March 14 at Valleyview Funeral Home.

President, Mike Koutsantonis shared a report with the members that focused on URBA鈥檚 accomplishments in 2017. URBA successfully secured it鈥檚 renewal with the City of 91大黄鸭 for the next five years as well as the board focused on it official strategic plan, enhancements when it came to beautification as well as hosting signature events within Rutland, so the community could support local businesses.

Koutsantonis also noted that URBA is enthusiastic about all the upcoming mixed use developments slated for Rutland鈥檚 Towne Centre.

鈥淚t鈥檚 our mandate to advocate for economic and business development, raise the overall profile of the Rutland business community and partner the City and Developers to create and area that prospers,鈥� stated URBA in a release.
