Who knew there were so many talented artists hiding in the woods at SilverStar?
For the second year in a row more than 25 creative geniuses are primed to showcase a variety of spectacular creations this weekend at the ski hill.
"There’s something to suit every taste and imagination: from fused glass to live edge wood, colourful and cozy knitted goods, fabulous pottery, glorious paintings, eye-catching stained glass and breathtaking photography," said organizer Patti Shales Lefkos. "There’s even a few books by local authors."
Called Mountain Magic at SilverStar, the celebration of community talent takes place at the Chilcoot Conference Centre Saturday, Jan. 18, from 1-7 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 19 from 12-5 p.m., with a chance to meet the makers.
"Come and be inspired," said Shales Lefkos, adding admission is free.
