Anticipation is growing for the fourth annual Ignite the Arts Festival in Penticton.
Returning to the city from March 28 to 30, 2025, the celebration of arts and culture has already doubled its projections for early-bird ticket sales.
"We鈥檙e blown away by the incredible support for this year鈥檚 festival," said Penticton Art Gallery curator Paul Crawford. "With ticket sales nearing half of our total capacity, there鈥檚 a real chance we might sell out."
According to the event organizers, more than 100 performances are expected to take place at the next edition of Ignite the Arts. The festival, as it has for the last few years, will take place at 10 venues across Penticton.
Music, dance, and live theatre are among the entertainment options slated for the festival, which attracted more than 1,700 people on each of its three days in March 2024.
Early bird weekend passes are on sale until Dec. 31. An adult weekend pass includes a $15 voucher for merchandise or food and beverage at participating Ignite the Arts venues, organizers said. Passes can be purchased
The three-day festival follows the Ignite the Arts Community Week, which will take place from March 21 to 27, with exhibitions, sculpture contests and a city-wide art walk among the planned festivities.
Debuting in 2022, the Ignite the Arts Festival welcomes artists and performers from across B.C. to Penticton.
