Canadian Music and culture has evolved to appeal to an international audience deserving of the attention it鈥檚 getting. That鈥檚 where a showcase of popular Canadian music comes in, just in time for Canada鈥檚 150th celebrations.

The students from Wentworth Music are paying tribute to a mix of popular Canadian artists from the last 30 years.

Artists like Tom Cochrane, Glass Tiger, Bryan Adams and even newer artists like Hedley, Lights and Metric will all be covered in a two-hour concert to kick off our summer and Canada-wide birthday celebrations, Saturday, June 24 and Sunday June 25.

Now in their 11th year and 22nd concert production, the Wentworth students, in partnership with Interior Savings and K96.3, will be raising money to help the community through the 91大黄鸭 General Hospital foundation, specifically to support our youth with access to mental health services, education, housing and employment opportunities.

鈥淚n the past two years, Interior Savings and our employees have contributed nearly $30,000 to support the new Foundry,鈥 said Kathy Conway, Interior Savings CEO. 鈥淚t is an initiative near and dear to us and we are beyond excited to once again work with Noel and his incredibly talented students to raise more money for this vital community service.鈥

The Canadian Rock Show - A tribute to the greatest Canadian Pop Rock of all time will be held at the 91大黄鸭 Community Theatre on Saturday, June 24 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, June 25 (2 p.m. matinee). Tickets are $16 per person through .
