More than 100 teens eagerly took part in a fun night just for them.

Vernon Winter Carnival鈥檚 second Teen Night at the Vernon Recreation Centre saw youth playing games, swimming and enjoying the fun provided just for them.

鈥淚t was truly a remarkable turnout,鈥 said Kris Fuller, Carnival executive director.

鈥漌e estimate 140 teens throughout the evening - our May event had 90!鈥

The teens loved the slushes, axe throwing, music, pool games and the free draws.

鈥淭hese elements added an extra layer of excitement to the evening, creating an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie that was palpable throughout the event,鈥 said Fuller.

With the success, another teen night is already in the works for Feb. 5.

Fuller thanks sponsors for their support which 鈥渉as not only provided them with an enjoyable and memorable experience but has also fostered a sense of community and belonging among the teenagers in our area.鈥
