Get ready for life in the fast lane, Penticton, because renowned tribute acts are coming to rock Peachfest in 2025.
Eagle Eyes, a tribute to The Eagles, and Bad Medicine, a tribute to Bon Jovi, have been booked for RE/MAX Tribute Night on Friday, Aug. 8, at Penticton Peach Festival.
A fan-favourite at the annual summertime festival, Eagle Eyes last performed in Penticton two years ago when it dazzled with all-time hits like Hotel California, Take It Easy, and Life in the Fast Lane.
鈥淚n 2023, they captivated the crowd with their incredible performance, and we can't wait to experience that magic again," said Shawna Tinga, president of Peachfest. "Their attention to detail, their ability to nail every iconic Eagles song 鈥 RE/MAX Tribute Night is a show you don鈥檛 want to miss."
With decades of experience between them, members of Vancouver Island-based Eagle Eyes are renowned across B.C. for using no pre-recorded tracks or auto-tune.
Vancouver's Bad Medicine, meanwhile, is set to rock Penticton with hits like Livin' on a Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive.
It will play both Bon Jovi anthems and the band's lesser-known tunes, event organizers said.
鈥淭he band鈥檚 passion and dedication to capturing the authentic Bon Jovi sound will make for an electrifying evening, whether you're a lifelong fan or new to their music,鈥 Tinga said.
With the show set to proceed inside Okanagan Lake Park, no tickets are required to enter.
The Penticton Peach Festival, one of Canada's famed summertime events, draws thousands of people to the city every year and is free to attend. This year's edition runs from Aug. 6 to 10.
