Award-winning Salmon Arm pianist Jaeden Izik-Dzurko started the new year off doing what he does best, tickling the ivories at a local concert in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank.
The 25-year-old, who won first prize and the title of Best Canadian Artist in the 2024 piano edition of the Concours Musical International de Montréal, performed his Voyages recital at the Nexus at First United Church on Saturday, Jan. 4. Admission was by donation, with all proceeds going to the food bank.
Later this month, Izik-Dzurko will also perform with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in England, followed by a solo recital in Paris. A full schedule of upcoming events can be found online at .
