West 91´ó»ÆѼ’s draft accessibility, inclusion plan ready for review

The City of West 91´ó»ÆѼ's draft Accessibility and Inclusion Plan is available for residents to review.

The city’s Accessibility and Inclusion Committee was formed to work with staff on reducing and removing barriers associated with accessibility. 

The draft plan will help residents and visitors with varied abilities to use and enjoy parks, trails, facilities, beaches, sidewalks, pathways, and other attractions and amenities.

Residents can participate in an Accessibility and Inclusion Plan questionnaire until Nov. 11. 

Anyone needing assistance with completing the survey or requiring an alternative format can email melissa.huntanderson@westkelownacity.ca or call 778-797-2257.
 
Paper copies of the survey are available at the following locations:

  • West 91´ó»ÆѼ City Hall – 3731 Old Okanagan Highway;
  • Westside Seniors Activity Centre – 3661 Old Okanagan Highway;
  • Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre – 3737 Old Okanagan Highway;
  • West 91´ó»ÆѼ Recreation and Culture Office – 2760 Cameron Road.
