Hundreds of kids were on the hunt for Easter eggs in Lake Country on Friday.
To celebrate Good Friday and Easter weekend, the annual Lake Country Easter Egg Hunt took place at Jack Seaton Park on Mar. 29, despite cloudy and cold conditions.
After nearly two hours of games and activities around the park, the hunt took place at 12 p.m. as the kids were split into age groups and sent off to collect Easter eggs. Each child had to collect six eggs and return them to the District of Lake Country tent to claim a candy bag.
Other vendors with their own stands also had Easter treats for everyone who attended. The local fire department also let kids get photos with a fire truck, while one vendor was giving away small plants.
