91大黄鸭's Rotary Centre for the Arts is welcoming Lamiae Naki and Seffarine to the stage on Nov. 29 with music from across the Mediterranean.
鈥淪effarine鈥檚 music is where Persian classical, Spanish flamenco, and Andalusian music meet. The result is music that is vibrant, elegant, and enchanting," said Theatre Programming Director Andrew Stauffer. "One can forget to breathe when hearing Lamiae Naki鈥檚 stunning voice. Together, the four players create music that lifts audiences out of the mundanity of the day-to-day. These musicians truly are amazing.鈥
Seffarine has capitvated audiences across the globe. Their debut album, De Fez a Jerez, ranked in Transglobal World Music Charts top 20 and was named one of the "best African albums of 2015" by Afribuku.
