The 91大黄鸭 General Hospital Foundation has received the Imagine Canada Accreditation.

The 91大黄鸭 General Hospital (KGH) Foundation has been named one of the best non-profit organizations in Canada.

In an announcement on Thursday, Sept. 12, the KGH Foundation said it has earned the Imagine Canada Accreditation.

"Imagine Canada accreditation is a vital marker of trust and accountability in the nonprofit sector,鈥 said KGH Foundation board chair Janine Karlsen. 鈥淚t demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of transparency, ethical fundraising, and good governance. This accreditation reinforces to our donors, volunteers, and partners that their support is managed responsibly and that we are dedicated to making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.鈥

To earn the accreditation from Imagine Canada, non-profits go through an application process that takes months to go through and includes independent peer reviews of operating and governance practices. Non-profits who accomplish this feat must "demonstrate excellence in board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, human resources, and volunteer involvement," the release states.

鈥淭he journey to achieve this accreditation was both rigorous and comprehensive, taking nearly a year to compile and present the necessary information for evaluation,鈥 added Karlsen. 鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be prouder of our team for their unwavering commitment to excellence and their dedication to upholding the highest standards in everything we do.鈥
