91大黄鸭 program supports families of teens with substance use disorders

New program aims to equip families with the necessary tools to support youth through recovery

A new support program for families of teens experiencing substance use disorder has opened at the Bridge Youth and Family Services in 91大黄鸭. 

The program is intended to provide support, education, resources and strategies for the parents and caregivers of youth who are struggling with substance abuse. 

鈥淭his program is designed to provide families with the essential knowledge and resources they need during a critical time,鈥 said a spokesperson from The Bridge.

Workshops will be held in 91大黄鸭 on Oct. 22, Nov. 5 and Nov. 19, with a 5p.m. start time. 

The workshops will cover topics including; education on substance use, long-term strategies for recovery, managing family dynamics and communication strategies. The program will also help educate parents and caregivers on the supports and resources that are available to them.
