After several reports over the last week of a suspicious man lurking around the trails of Knox Mountain, police were once again contacted Friday morning about dubious activity in the same area. 

The call came into RCMP just after 8 a.m. and officers along with members of the Community Safety Unit immediately responded and contained the area using police cruisers and an ATV. 

A man was located at the base of the mountain and put into custody without incident. 

It is believed this suspect is associated with several calls for police to attend Knox Mountain and the trail to Paul鈥檚 Tomb.

The man is currently held in 91大黄鸭 cells on the strength of the outstanding warrant and officers will be questioning him regarding his intentions on the Knox Mountain trails, explained Cpl. Michael Gauthier.
