Non-profit organization Interchange Recycling has partnered up with Great Canadian Oil Change in 91大黄鸭 to offer the recycling of used motor oil, oil filters and containers, and used antifreeze and antifreeze containers.
At the Sexsmith Road location, Great Canadian Oil Change will have a 10-foot sea container with a 1,100-litre tank.
鈥淥ur ability to properly recycle and re-introduce used materials back into B.C.鈥檚 circular economy is important work that requires growing infrastructure to enable the safe collection, handling and storage,鈥 said David Lawes, CEO of Interchange Recycling. "This new infrastructure will help keep more automotive materials out of landfill, and will enable the hard-working team at The Great Canadian Oil Change to collect materials from 91大黄鸭 residents with ease."
Since 2003, Interchange Recycling has been able to create reasonable access to recycling locations for over 99 per cent of B.C. residents.
