Renovation plans for the 91大黄鸭 Paddle Centre have been submitted to city hall.
Plans also include construction of a community building in Pandosy Waterfront Park (3020 Abbott Street) which was completed last year.
鈥淭he new Paddle Centre will offer state-of-the-art amenities that cater to a diverse range of activities, promoting physical health and well being,鈥� the documents state.
Upgrades to the centre include modernized paddling equipment, accessible facilities, and improved safety features.
The new centre will be a central gathering space for community events, workshops, and social activities.
In November 2020, the City of 91大黄鸭 announced the start of the construction of the long-awaited Pandosy Waterfront Park, which would include a new paddle centre.
