Ongoing vandalism has prompted the District of Peachland to close its public washrooms earlier in the day.
Starting Oct. 24, public washrooms along Beach Avenue will open at 5 a.m. but close at 3:30 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.
Peachland Public Washroom Hours:
- Peachland Community Centre - Monday to Thursday - 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday - 12 to 4 p.m.;
- Swim Bay - 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
- Todd Road Lift Station - 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 5890 Beach Avenue (near Peachland Museum) - 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Portable washrooms are available at Lambly Park, Heritage Park, Swim Bay and Todd Road Lift Station.
