It is one of the highlights of the season in Rutland.

The Rutland Winter Light Up is set for Saturday, Nov. 25 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Rutland Centennial Park.

The event features family-friendly activities, as well as photos with Santa, hot chocolate, hot cider, live entertainment and a local artisans market.

鈥淲e are really excited to be able to bring this great community event to the Rutland area of our city,鈥� said Christina Ferreira, Impact Events and Brand Management.

Attendees can lunch at one of four food trucks and the 91大黄鸭 Chiefs will also be on-site.

鈥淲e鈥檝e expanded the event based on a successful return in 2021 and 2022, you鈥檒l find more vendors, more food trucks, and more live entertainment to take in during this outdoor festival, and it wouldn鈥檛 be a light-up event without us lighting the tree at Rutland Centennial park, where it will stay lit through until the end of December,鈥� Ferreira added.

Mayor Tom Dyas will light the Christmas Tree at 4:15 p.m.
