91大黄鸭 Rockets
The 91大黄鸭 Rockets head to Portland on Friday (Nov. 29) to face the Winterhawks, fresh off their win of the 2026 Memorial Cup hosting bid.

On Wednesday (Nov. 27), the Rockets were awarded the national championship of the CHL, beating out Medicine Hat, Brandon, Spokane, and Lethbridge.

"This is a thrilling night for our organization and for the city," Rockets President and General Manager Bruce Hamilton said on Wednesday. "I can't be more proud of the group that we put together to make this bid come true and I'm thankful for the opportunity for us to have this event one more time here."

91大黄鸭 also secured a 4-2 victory over Portland that same day. Andrew Cristall extended his point streak to 13 games with the opening goal and was named WHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 24.

The Rockets have five wins and five losses in their last 10 games. They sit ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 10-9-2-1, earning 23 points so far. Friday鈥檚 game begins at 1 p.m.

The Warriors have struggled recently, winning just three of their last 10 games, including two overtime losses. Friday鈥檚 matchup opens a four-game home stand that runs through Dec. 7. The Warriors are seventh in the BCHL Interior East with 21 points and a record of 8-10-4-1. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
