The weather has been in our favour for Canada Day fireworks according to 91大黄鸭 Mayor Tom Dyas.
The city leader explained during a Festivals 91大黄鸭 announcement on June 26 in Stuart Park that big fireworks displays were always his favourite part of the holiday festivities as a kid.
"If something changes in the next few days or there's substantial winds that come into play we may have to reconsider," Dyas said.
Executive director for Festivals 91大黄鸭 Renata Mills hosted the announcement and outlined what people can expect to see on Monday.
Waterfront Park will be filled with food trucks. Mills added that with the expansion into Stuart Park, there will be food trucks at that location as well.
"You can basically eat your way around Canada Day," Mills said, noting the variety of food that will be available.
Catch live music on stage at Stuart Park, Waterfront Park, and Tugboat Beach.
