A couple of local personal trainers have made a big donation to a West 91Ѽ high school.

Brian Mark and Cole DaSilva from Iron Energy Gym donated $10,000 to the Mount Boucherie Secondary School football team on Thursday, Nov. 30.

“Our goal with this donation is to remind these men to stay focused on their goals, because they are the future and decisions they make today will be the ones that shape the next generation,” Mark and De Silva said in a joint Instagram post.

They got inspired to make the donation after one of the players on the team reached out and spoke to Mark.

“As football players, you guys are leaders in the community,” Mark told players at the cheque presentation. “People follow you around, they’ll watch what you do, and they’re going to act like you.”
