Approximately 200 piles of wood debris will be burned along June Springs Road in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park.

The BC Wildfire Service, BC Parks, and the Okanagan Shuswap Resource District are doing the work, which is part of an ongoing fuels management project supporting the City of 91大黄鸭鈥檚 Community Wildfire Resiliency Program(CWRP).

Burning may start as early as Oct. 14 and continue until December. Smoke and flames may be visible from 91大黄鸭 and surrounding areas.

The exact timing of the burns will depend on site, weather, venting and snow conditions. Burning will proceed if conditions are favourable.
