Working smoke alarms save residents from 91大黄鸭 house fire

Fire crews were dispatched to Shetland Drive around 6:30 a.m.

All residents are safe after a home on 91大黄鸭鈥檚 Shetland Drive went up in flames early Sunday (May 26).

91大黄鸭 firefighters were dispatched to the 3100-block of Shetland Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m.

Smoke and flames were visible from the rear of the home upon arrival.

Crews knocked the blaze down quickly and continued to work on hot spots in the structure鈥檚 roof.

The fire is not suspicious in nature and is under investigation.

Working smoke alarms in the home are credited for alerting the residents and allowing them time to exit safely.
