One man was arrested following a police incident that shut down Highway 97 near Commonwealth Road.
RCMP closed the highway on Dec. 6, as they focused on a brown house at 8774 Highway 97, following an early morning assault.
Loud bangs could heard coming from the area at the time as officers were heard yelling at someone inside to surrender as the place was surrounded.
A man finally exited the home and was arrested at about 1 p.m.
Traffic was at a standstill for several hours in both directions on the highway.
