Friday鈥檚 (Oct. 25) KIJHL game between the 91大黄鸭 Chiefs and Princeton Posse was close until the third period. Princeton鈥檚 Bryton Morrow (4) put his team on the board first at 7:10 of the opening frame.
The Chiefs answered back seven minutes later on a goal by Owen Ivanov (2), with assists to Ben Henshall and Gairen Bona. Aiden Morcom (3) put 91大黄鸭 up 2-1 four minutes into the second period assisted by Henshall.
The Posse tied the game on a powerplay goal by Matthew Langdon (11) at 6:38 and then went up 3-2 on Morrow鈥檚 (5) second of the game before the period ended.
The third was all Princeton as Langdon (12) scored his second of the night, and Will Bell (7) and Jackson Gush added markers in the 6-2 win. Langdon leads the league with 27 points (16-g, 11-a). Ten penalties were handed out, six to Princeton and four to the Chiefs.
91大黄鸭 was out shot 46/34 and went 0/4 on the powerplay. Max Fowle made 40 saves in the Chiefs loss. 91大黄鸭 (5-4-0-2-0) is tied for last place in the Bill Ohlhausen Division with the Osoyoos Coyotes.
The Chiefs next game is Nov. 1 against the Willams Lake Mustangs in Williams Lake.
