Lake Country's Fynn McCarthy is headed to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The 24-year-old is part of Team Canada's men's indoor volleyball roster for the games in Paris.
In 2023, McCarthy was a recipient of the Bitove Indigenous Awards through the Canadian Olympic Foundation.
The men's volleyball team placed eighth at the Tokyo 2020 games and heads into the 2024 games as the ninth ranked team.
McCarthy is joined by one other British Columbian on the team, Brodie Hofer from Langley.
