Johannes L酶kkeberg鈥檚 four-point effort helped lead the West 91大黄鸭 Warriors past the Langley Riverman 6-2 on Family Day.

Just 21 seconds into the game, the Warriors were up 1-0 as Viggo Nordstr枚m found the back of the net for the fifth time this season. L酶kkeberg and Sean Keohane collected the assists on the goal.

West 91大黄鸭 doubled their lead later in the period when Jackson Kyrkostas scored his 18th goal of the campaign, assisted by Isaiah Norlin and Simon Houge.

Langley didn鈥檛 get on the board until late in the second period when Aaron Reierson scored to cut the deficit in half.

The floodgates opened in the third period as Felix Caron and L酶kkeberg scored within the first five minutes of the period to make it 4-1 for the Warriors. Caron鈥檚 26th goal of the season came on the powerplay and was assisted by Norlin and L酶kkeberg. The goal also put him in a tie for the lead in the BCHL.

L酶kkeberg鈥檚 goal was assisted by Trey Ausmus and Jack Farrell.

After Langley added a second goal, the Warriors鈥檚 forward Trent Wilson added two goals of his own to make it 6-2. His 14th goal of the year was assisted by Dylan Brooks and L酶kkeberg while his 15th was helped by Norlin and Caron and also came on the powerplay.

Rorke Applebee made 24 saves in the win for the Warriors.

After two wins and a loss on the long weekend, the Warriors are 26-10-7-0 and remain second in the BCHL鈥檚 Interior Conference, six points behind Penticton.

This upcoming weekend, the Warriors will head to the Lower Mainland to take on the Surrey Eagles on Friday, Feb. 23 and the Coquitlam Express on Saturday, Feb. 24. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. both nights.
