The Okanagan Sun will face a familiar opponent in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) semi-finals on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Going into the semis with a perfect (10-0) regular season under their belt, the Sun welcomed the Valley Huskers (5-5) to town, who they beat 60-14 in their last game on Sept. 28.

The Sun go into playoffs with the most points scored (391) and least allowed (137) this season. The biggest part of their offense is running back Elelyon Noa, who set a new rushing record with 1,612 rushing yards. He also led with 23 rushing touchdowns and 25 in total.

Defensively, Okanagan is led by Jacob Bond and Ahmed Borhot. Bond led the league with 60 tackles this season while Borhot collected eight interceptions, which also led the league.

In the two games between Okanagan and Valley this season, the Sun outscored them 86-14. 

Saturday's kick off is at 4 p.m. at the Apple Bowl.
