Yet that鈥檚 exactly the milestone the iconic family attraction is marking this summer, and like always, the Cultus team knows how to celebrate.
鈥淲e have always strived to stay relevant with families, whether it鈥檚 by or improving the amenities that make their visit even more enjoyable,鈥� says the park鈥檚 Chris Steunenberg, pointing to features like the expanded family picnic area.
That means that in addition to the variety of dining options available 鈥� including a new cafeteria-style restaurant 鈥� families can also pack their own lunch from home to enjoy in the free, covered picnic tables, a great place to rejuvenate after hours of thrills!
鈥淭his year, we鈥檝e really focused on modernizing things 鈥� these are the important details,鈥� says Steunenberg, who himself marks a quarter-century with the park this year.

As BC鈥檚 largest waterpark with a rich history with families, there鈥檚 a lot to live up to, but as always, the Cultus Lake team is up to the challenge. 鈥淲e鈥檙e definitely a landmark for families鈥� summer roadtrips, and if they haven鈥檛 visited for a few years, they鈥檙e going to love discovering all that鈥檚 new,鈥� Steunenberg says.
- Pick up your collector cup 鈥� The refillable, 28-ounce cup is just $8 and is decorated with a colourful artist-designed rendering of the park, with a few fun features tucked in. Who do you recognize?
- Sensational savings 鈥� While the park opens bright and early, the $20 twilight rate is a big hit that offers great savings and hours of fun. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 just an awesome deal,鈥� Steunenberg says.
- Save your ticket 鈥� On the back of your waterpark ticket, you鈥檒l find a coupon for up to $14 off your admission to the adjacent Cultus Lake Adventure Park. 鈥淭hat means it鈥檚 only $15 on weekdays to ride all day at the Adventure Park 鈥� that鈥檚 even lower than our twilight rate,鈥� Steunenberg notes. Of course, viewed another way, it鈥檚 also just $35 to enjoy both parks on their 35th anniversary!
