The countdown is on for campers to click their way into May long reservations.

And there are more options at the Okanagan's popular Fintry Park.

The B.C. park has added 30 new campsites with power hookups.

New flush toilets, upgraded services centres with a dishwashing station, a potable water tap and garbage/recycling containers are part of the $1.5-million campground upgrades.

Campsites can be booked starting Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 a.m. at  for May 15 arrivals.

Campsites can be reserved four months ahead of the desired arrival date.

Fintry opens April 4 for the 2025 season

BC Parks is also working to repair infrastructure in parks that were damaged by recent storms.

Of the 10,700 campsites BC Parks manages, approximately half are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
