A scavenger hunt, lip-sync battle and a chance to meet Family Channel stars.

What an adventure this weekend at Big White.

For Family Day Weekend, Big White Ski Resort held a ton of family-friendly events which families across the region came to enjoy.

鈥淏asically it鈥檚 about the kids this weekend,鈥� he said.

Although the numbers aren鈥檛 in for how many people attended the event, Bethan Wetheral, guest services, and events manager said it was a successful weekend.

Big White partnered with Family Channel to wow resort guests with a jam-packed schedule, kicking off on Saturday morning with a special Family Channel edition of Cruz the Blues, an Amazing-Race style Spectacular Race and an incredible Lip Sync battle in the Village Centre, hosted by Family Channel star Deepa Prashad.

In the evening, the stars of Family Channel鈥檚 Backstage, Josh Bogert, McKenzie Small and Aviva, took time to meet and greet fans at Big White鈥檚 famous Carnival Night. Young fans came out to say hi to their favourite Family Channel stars, grab an autograph and take home great prizes.

Events continued through Sunday and Monday as Big White hosted a Family Channel concert in the Big White Tube Park. Singing sensations Bogert, Small and Aviva took to the stage. On Monday, Big White offered all B.C. residents 50 per cent off lift tickets to support local families.
