91大黄鸭 RCMP have confirmed that the body of a man reported missing earlier this week was discovered downtown Tuesday evening.

On Jan. 3 at about 5:30 p.m., police on an undeveloped lot near the intersection of Clement Avenue and Ellis Street in downtown 91大黄鸭.

鈥淚nvestigators have positively identified the male discovered,鈥� says Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey.

鈥淲e are very saddened to confirm that the deceased male is in fact 39-year-old Benjamin Reichert (who was to police on Jan. 2nd). We extend our deepest condolences to Benjamin鈥檚 family and friends during this difficult time.鈥�

O'Donaghey says the man's family requests their privacy be respected as they come to grips with the loss of a loved one.

鈥淭he investigation has now been turned over to the BC Coroners Service as Reichert's death is not believed to be suspicious in nature," adds O'Donaghey.

"RCMP will continue to support the BC Coroners Service in their investigation."
