City acquires Bulman Road property for 91大黄鸭 airport

The property is currently subject to an existing and continuing lease with the Okanagan Polo Club.

The 91大黄鸭 airport has more room for expansion.

The City of 91大黄鸭 recently acquired a property at 4440/4444 Bulman Road, in support of the long-term land use strategy for the 91大黄鸭 International Airport (YLW). The property is currently subject to an existing and continuing lease with the Okanagan Polo Club.

鈥淭he purchase of this property was very important to guarantee the long-term success of the airport,鈥 said Sam Samaddar, Airport Director. 鈥淲e need to ensure that we have the available land to support the future growth of YLW.鈥

Purchased for $3.99 milliion, this 78-acre property is a key acquisition, as identified in YLW鈥檚 Master Plan 2045. It secures long-term sustainability, as the airport continues to develop.

Funding for the acquisition was provided from the Airport Reserves, with no funding from general taxation, said the City of 91大黄鸭.
