Officers determined that a nearby home, along with two vehicles were associated with the investigation. Several people in and around the home were arrested.

After obtaining search warrants, officers seized approximately 1.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine, two kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, and $33,000 in cash.

RCMP is preparing several charges to be submitted to the BC Prosecution Service, including assault and possession for the purposes of trafficking. All parties have since been released from custody pending further investigation.

鈥淣early all of the individuals involved are not even from 91大黄鸭, yet decided to bring their criminal behaviour here and try to tarnish what we considered a pretty successful and safe Canada Day long weekend for our residents and tourists alike,鈥 said Cpl. Michael Gauthier.
