Environment Canada has issued a warning of storm conditions, with reduced visibility and heavy snow, for Highway 3 from the Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass.
The storm is expected to taper off Tuesday afternoon.
鈥淪now levels will hover near 1,300 metres through the event,鈥� the bulletin states. 鈥淎s of 4 a.m. PST this morning, up to 23 centimetres of snow has fallen over Kootenay Pass and up to 20 cm for Paulson Summit. An additional five-to-10 cm is expected today.鈥�
