For the third consecutive day, extreme cold warnings are in effect for four Okanagan highways.
At 4:31 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, Environment Canada extended warnings for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt and from Merritt to Kamloops, as well as the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to 91大黄鸭 and the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
All four highways could experience temperatures ranging between -25 C to -35 C but it could feel as low as -45 C because of the wind chill. Wind gusts could reach up t0 40 km/h, according to Environment Canada.

Temperatures are expected to warm up a few degrees on Sunday, with windy conditions not expecting to play as much of a factor.
