The fire danger rating is now considered extreme for the 91大黄鸭 area and it is forecasted that this rating will remain over the next few days.
"The 91大黄鸭 Fire Department reminds residents and visitors to be very careful to prevent fires," reads a press release, from the city.
"Open burning or fireworks are not allowed within 91大黄鸭 city boundaries, cigarette smoking is banned in City parks and all smoking material should be extinguished carefully."
Anyone who sees smoke or fire in any park should immediately call *5555, the B.C. Wildfire Management Branch, or 911.
