The fire danger rating is now considered extreme for the 91´ó»ÆѼ area and it is forecasted that this rating will remain over the next few days.
"The 91´ó»ÆѼ Fire Department reminds residents and visitors to be very careful to prevent fires," reads a press release, from the city.
"Open burning or fireworks are not allowed within 91´ó»ÆѼ city boundaries, cigarette smoking is banned in City parks and all smoking material should be extinguished carefully."
Anyone who sees smoke or fire in any park should immediately call *5555, the B.C. Wildfire Management Branch, or 911.
