Big White Ski Resort has designated two Nordic trails to the use of fat tire mountain bikes.
Fat biking will now run on Trapping Meadows and Tile Field Loop, trails that are easily accessible from Happy Valley Adventure Park or from the Black Forest car park.
鈥淲ith the opening of mountain biking at Big White Ski Resort this summer, we are excited to give fat bikers their own place in our winter community as well,鈥� said Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President at Big White Ski Resort.
鈥淥ur ultimate aim is to create a unique riding destination in the Okanagan, and this includes fat biking.鈥�
Patrol reminds fat bikers to yield to all other user groups on the nordic trails to ensure safety.
