A family with five children are safe this morning due to the efforts of a Search and Rescue team.
Central Okanagan Search and Rescue responded to a request from the RCMP to assist a stuck motorist on the KVR.
鈥淭hey had gotten stuck in deep snow and had five children,鈥� said David Crawford, of COSAR in an online post.
鈥淲e escorted them out of the area and are taking them home to warm dinner and bed.鈥�
