There will be no fireworks show in Keremeos this Halloween.
In a post from the Elim Tabernacle Church on 9th Street, they said the annual tradition couldn鈥檛 go ahead because of things that had come up.
鈥淒ue to a few circumstances beyond our current ability to facilitate, we will be unable to host/set off the community fireworks this year on Halloween night,鈥� the church wrote on its Facebook page. 鈥淲e realize that it has been a tradition in our village for a number of years now and are disappointed by the current situation, perhaps next year we can bring it back.鈥�
There are no other fireworks shows scheduled or announced in the South Okanagan for Halloween.
