A container filled with a mystery liquid prompted dispatch of a HAZMAT team this weekend.

At approximately 4:20 p.m. March 26, 91大黄鸭 Fire dispatch received a call from RCMP requesting assistance with an unknown package that was found in the ATM vestibule of the Bank of Montreal on Dilworth Drive.

鈥淯pon arrival KFD units found a four to five liter jug of liquid with a hose coming out of the top of it and a plastic wrap lid held on with an elastic,鈥� said Tim Light, Platoon Captain 91大黄鸭 Fire Department, in a press release.

鈥淭he 91大黄鸭 Fire Department Hazardous Materials Team Leader was called to the seen to assess the package.鈥�

The package was not giving of a heat signature after using a thermal imaging camera.

鈥淩CMP received some pictures from the ATM security camera which showed two individuals bring the container into the bank,鈥� Light said.

鈥淎fter rearranging their belongings it seemed that they just forgot to take this container.鈥�

A minor Hazmat response was decided on which involved two members donning A level suits and containing the package and then over packing the item in a plastic containment barrel.

The Ministry of Environment was called to arrange disposal of the package.

91大黄鸭 Fire Dept. remained on scene until the package was removed.
