Check out photos from a comic expo that happened last weekend

Editor鈥檚 Note:

This was not 91大黄鸭鈥檚 first comic expo. We apologize for the erroneous headline. We have covered other events in the same industry in the past and we will again in the future. For story ideas and events please email edit@kelownacapnews.com. KP

Parkinson Recreation Centre was packed Sunday with all sorts of heroes, villains and monsters for 91大黄鸭鈥檚 first Comic and Collectibles Expo.

Special guests included: 鈥淢illion Dollar Man鈥 Ted DiBiase, Christopher Lee, Tracy Lynn Cruz and more.

We sent our photographer Douglas Farrow to get photos of the event.

According to organizer Michael Kay, turnout was as expected with just under 1,000 people.

Next years plans are to go bigger than the current 50 vendors and artists. The expo is hoping to double its space and find a new venue with bank machines.

The currently location at Parkinson Recreation Centre had 6,000 square feet of space; next year the plan is to have 15,000, said Kay.
