Fuel costs have risen, again, in Vernon.
Prices at the pump jumped from $1.58.9 to $1.67.9 on Wednesday, March 20. Some stations are as high as $1.69.9 in town.
Similar prices are reflected across the Okanagan, with some exceptions.
Salmon Arm, Enderby and Lumby have the cheapest prices in B.C. currently at $1.54.9, according to .
Some Penticton pumps are offering prices of $1.61.9.
Canada-wide, pumps in Edmonton and Winnipeg have some of the cheapest fuel at $1.29.9.
Further increases are expected with the carbon tax hike April 1 when the federal price increases to $80 per tonne, up from $65.
That increase is expected to add about three cents to the price of a litre of gasoline.
