鈥淯pon arrival the first unit reported light smoke coming from the eaves of a one-story residence,鈥 said Platoon Captain Tim Light.

The two children that also live in the home were fortunately visiting their grandparents in Joe Rich at the time of the blaze.

Emergency Support Services was called in to offer assistance to all the occupants going forward.

The 91大黄鸭 Fire Department urges the public to make sure you have a working smoke detector in your home as early detection saves lives.
